Welcome to Dear Sweet Paper!
My career path began in the make-up industry, focusing on special effects make-up. However, driven by a deep passion for helping others, I transitioned into the public sector, where I have worked continuously for the past twenty years.
I have always been artistic, and later discovered my love for bespoke design while planning my own wedding. My youngest son was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, requiring lifelong and continuous care. This prompted me to shift into this fulfilling career, allowing me the flexibility to support my son while creating something meaningful for myself.
The joy of creating and personalising every detail evolved from a hobby into a true passion. As a perfectionist with a deep appreciation for beautiful design, I began sharing my creations, including elegant event invitations and bespoke wedding stationery - and from there, Dear Sweet Paper was born.
I'm truly committed to crafting high-quality, bespoke stationery that adds a touch of elegance and meaning to your most special moments.

How it works?
Bespoke design is a highly personal journey. Every piece is created exclusively for you — no templates, no repeats, simply original designs crafted with care. I create stationery for weddings and other special events such as birthdays, engagements, christenings, and holy communions. (Please visit my instagram page to view my complete portfolio).
I offer a free, no-obligation 1:1 design consultation via phone or video call. During this conversation, we explore your ideas, colours, themes, style, and any inspiration you wish to include. Following the consultation I will provide you with a detailed quote.
I create initial design mocks and provide you with video walk throughs so you can visualise how your stationery will look. We’ll refine these together until you’re completely happy. Once approved, a final proof is prepared for sign-off before printing and hand-crafting each individual piece.

Quotes are always personalised based on guest numbers and finishing touches. Every wedding/event is different, and so it's difficult to give an exact quote without having the knowledge of the numbers and materials required first.

Most customers typically spend between:
£300-£800 for invitations
£500-£1500 for both Invitations and on-the-day stationery
1. Enquire with your wedding/event details
2. Schedule a phone call consultation
3. Following the call, receive a personalised quote within 48 hours
4. If happy to proceed, a £100 design fee is taken (deducted from the final balance)
5. I create a mock of your stationery and send you a video walkthrough so you can see how it will physically look. We work together to refine the stationery until you're completely happy.
4. Your stationery is printed and created onto luxury cardstock and delivered
Planning your wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. That's why I offer a free phone call consultation to help guide you through the process.
Whether you're looking for elegant invitations, beautiful on-the-day details, or a complete stationery suite, each order includes the same attention to detail and personal service.
I kindly ask for the £100 bespoke design fee to be paid initially, once this is received I begin the design process.
Once you have confirmed your choice of design and are completely happy with the overall look, I will kindly ask for 50% of the final balance to be paid prior to the order of materials and creation of all of your pieces.
At conclusion of printing/creating, I will kindly ask for the remaining balance to be paid (minus the £100 design fee).
I accept payment by credit or debit card, Klarna, and PayPal.
Absolutely! My work is bespoke - meaning everything I create is unique to you.
My Instagram Portfolio is there to give you an insight into work I have created, and to also provide you with inspiration.
Once you have approved your design I aim to have this made up and sent out to you within 2-3 weeks.
However, times can vary dependent on the amount of orders I have in at any one time.
I do accept rush orders - this can be discussed at point of enquiring.

PAYMENTS
All quotations are valid for 30 days only, the prices are secured once your £100 deposit is received.
For bespoke designs, £100 deposit is taken upfront (deducted from final balance). 50% of the remaining balance will be due once you are happy with your designs and ready to proceed to printing. Your final balance is due at the point of postage. Payment is accepted by debit or credit card, Klarna, or Paypal.
If you are ordering semi-bespoke designs through my website payments will be paid in full upfront. You may use debit / credit card.
SHIPPING
All orders will be shipped to the address provided. Your order will only be shipped once full payment has been received. I always post via tracked deliver.
Please understand that Royal Mail / Evri occasionally have delays that are out of my control. I will always notify you of tracking information once your order has shipped. Dear Sweet Paper will not be held liable for delivery delays beyond our control.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For any international orders please contact me direct. I can then calculate the shipping to your delivery address and raise a custom listing with this information. Please keep in mind international deliveries can take a few weeks to arrive.
RETURNS/REFUNDS
You have 24 hours from the £100 deposit being paid for bespoke orders, and 24 hours from the purchase of any semi-bespoke orders direct from my website, to cancel your order with a full refund. As all items are custom made I do not offer any refunds once work has begun on your order. However, if you are unhappy with your order please contact me as I can always fix things. Please ensure you check all work as soon as it arrives and let me know as soon as possible if there are any issues or missing items.
REPRINTING
Dear Sweet Paper will print the stationery as per approved proofs. It is the clients responsibility to double check all information is correct on the final drafts. Once confirmation has been provided to proceed to printing, any errors are the customers responsibility. If re-printing is required then a fee may occur.
SHARING TO SOCIAL MEDIA / WEBSITE
Dear Sweet Paper reserves the right to post any photos/videos of their work to social media and/or to their website for promotional purposes, any private information such as contact details will be blanked out. If you do not wish for your stationery to be shared please advise by email at the soonest notice.
